Dry Waste And E Waste Collection Drive
Th Rotary Club of Dombivli East, in association with the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), successfully organized a Dry Waste & E-Waste Collection Drive at Rotary Bhavan, Dombivli East. Despite continuous heavy rainfall, the project witnessed an encouraging response from citizens and Rotarians, reflecting the growing awareness of responsible waste disposal and environmental conservation.
The project was led by Project Director Rtn. Vijay Ghodekar and Project Chair Rtn. Narayan Reddy, with dedicated support from Rtn. Jyotsna Bhise, Rtn. Chandrashekhar Shinde, Rtn. Vikram Shetty, and the entire Environment Team. Their excellent planning, coordination, and tireless efforts ensured the smooth execution of the drive under challenging weather conditions.
A special highlight of the event was the visit of Mr. Ramdas Kokare, Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Solid Waste Management & Sanitation), KDMC, whose encouraging words motivated the volunteers and appreciated Rotary's commitment
